My Commit Reward$

First and foremost, I am a marketer. So I get this. But this is somewhat bizarre.

Commit recently launched a rewards program for a nicotine cessation product in a cappuccino (something just as addictive) flavored lozenge. I’ve worked on loyalty programs for the largest brands in the world to encourage ongoing consumption. Here is where I’m struggling:  GlaxoSmithKline is in the biz of weening folks off nicotine, but at the same time creating a loyalty program? Interesting.

    Laughing at myself still. One month ago, I relaunched “me” under the moniker caffeinacation with an integrated microblog. This failed (rather fell out of interest) attempt was a bad New Coke experiment. Certainly don’t bookmark it as I’m killing it.
